Manage personally identifiable information (PII)

Syntho helps to ensure columns containing personally identifiable information (PII) are properly managed and governed. It provides fast identification and obfuscation modules for PII entities, such as credit card numbers, names, locations, social security numbers, phone numbers, financial data and more. While the PII scanner provides a robust starting point for identifying PII, it is not exhaustive. Users should carefully assess their data to identify other sensitive columns that may require attention.

All columns marked as PII are listed on the PII tab. Use the table selection menu on the left side of the panel to browse the highlighted PII entities by table.
